The first chapter explains how religions function as stories by which we live. Following chapters trace answers to Jesus’s question given by voices from major world religions: Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. The final chapter explores how the great religions view the ultimate fate of other believers.
Acerca de Wayne G. Johnson
Wayne Johnson was born 8 July 1921 the 11th og 14 children to Norwegian immigrant parents. He grew up on farms in western Minnesota during the Great Depression. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on 8 December 1941 the day after the Japanese attack mon Pearl Harbor. Trained as a fighter pilot in the P-40 Warhawk and the P-51 Mustang fighter planes, he was sent to China to join the famed Flying Tigers. He particpated in the first fightern strike against Japanese airdromes in a flight of 16 P-51s destroying 97 enemy planes without loss of any Americans. After the end of WWII, he became an attorney, receing many awards and setting a record as the longest serving city attorney in the United States. Continuing his aviation activeties, he was named Mr. Aviation of Minnesota in 1968. In 2001 he was inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame. The Silver Bay Minnesota airport was re-named the Wayne Johnson airport in his honor. He first soloed an airplane in 1937 and continued to pilot his own plane into his mid eightys.
